A Few Of My Favourite Things Poem by Paul Sebastian

A Few Of My Favourite Things

Rating: 5.0

Raindrops on roses
Fragrance of flowers
Fresh white flowers in vases
Bouquet of red-white roses
These are a few of my favourite things

Wide-eyed cute kittens
With pretty furry patterns
Kitty sleeping on my cushions
Stroking, showing affection
These are few of my favourite things

Birthday candle-blowing
My chocolate cake cutting
Eating cake with strawberry topping
Balloon blowing, tying with strings
These are few of my favourite things

Untying satin ribbons on presents
Unwrapping presents in my impatience
Receiving book- gift for pleasure reading
New pair of sneakers for exercising
These are few of my favourite things

Playing catching in rain-showers
Clothes soaked in mud-splashes
Cycling fast down countryside lanes
Walking my dog, early mornings
These are few of my favourite things

Long chit-chats with friends
Castles built with beach sand
Humming a folk song tune
As I dance alone in my room
These are few of my favourite things

When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I am feeling sad
I simply remember my favourite things
Then I don’t feel so bad!
