You are special and a true friend...
When I am down you lend a hand...
And always there with me until the end.

You're an adult but with a soul of a child...
So certain of life yet also so wild...
The one thing that easily makes me smile.

A person of true love, tenderness and respect...
Trying the hardest for all my problems to correct...
There is no favor I need that you will reject.

I still remember my nightmares of despair...
But anything with you I can just easily share.
While your understanding is beyond compare.

You never changed from the outside or from within...
Always charging no matter how strong the wind...
Just simply never afraid of giving life a spin.

And your very heart is a home of open doors...
There is nothing I need that you would ignore...
When I can't speak at all you become my roar.

Your guardian angel show never closes its curtain...
For me you are bound to cross any mountain...
You are the most certain in moments uncertain.

In moments where life hits one very hard...
You laugh and firmly stand your guard...
Battling on even if you are fully scarred.

In times we try to find a true friend...
You are the best and never pretend...
The main thing in which my life can depend.

Along with words of wisdom and truth you would speak...
Makes me believe that in life you are the most unique...
Even if you act serious, embarrassed, crazy, or as a freak.

You would cross any ocean no matter how wide...
Always knowing what to do when no one can decide...
Every night I fall asleep glad knowing you are by my side.

You are an inspiration and the best mentor...
When I am empty inside you fill my center...
Giving free kisses and hugs when my home you enter.

You tell me truth so real with unsurpassed phrases...
With an ability of knowledge that simply amazes...
Forever helping me out throughout my life's mazes.

I sometimes believe you are God's clone...
Always next to me and never leaving me alone...
You are always right when all else is unknown.

The point I am just trying to make...
Since for me you even place your life at stake...
You're a gift from heaven and not a mistake.

What I'm really saying in general...
I'm not trying to make you feel special...
But in my life you are something very critical.

So I hope you don't mind and permit...
Me saying the next line that does really fit...
You are a true friend and that I'm honored to admit.
