A Riddle Poem by Cristian Dolon

A Riddle

It is twelve midnight and I can not sleep...
In my imagination there aren't enough sheep's...
But there is a reason that in my mind sweeps.

You sound asleep as I am still awake...
Your little dreams I really didn't wish to break...
But now that your eyes are open the chance I will take.

You look at me with a look very confused...
That cute little look that is always used...
As for it I am the one to be accused.

Now to make you even more confused a little...
I'm sure what I will tell you might make you giggle...
For it's a simple secret in the form of a riddle.

What looks good in any color? ..
What cost more then any known dollar? ..
What makes everything small look taller?

Do you understand or no? ..
The answer to it do you know? ..
Does a clue somehow clearly show?

Do I need to be more specific? ..
Are you thinking it might be prolific? ..
Or are you wondering something terrific?

You seem so confused you no longer giggle...
I told you it might confuse you more a little...
So here's an extra hint on my same riddle.

What has the power to bring two worlds together? ..
What can make something very short last forever? ..
And what can truly make sense out of whatever?

Seems to me you really might never guess...
Every night I play this game on my own I must confess...
I'm sure you find it mind bending like playing a game of chess.

I'm sure there are many things which you would compare...
None might be the right answer for what I am aware...
But the answer to the riddle is simple and that I do swear.

Now based on the review...
And with no farther ado...
The answer to the riddle is... You.
