A Flag Of Surprises Poem by Olalekan Daniel Kehinde

A Flag Of Surprises

Rating: 5.0

I'm with loose jaws of ahs
       betrayed by thoughts
           stored in dark cave
                 of my frenemies.
                                              I'm a tornado
                                              in store, raging to
                                              storm your thoughts
                                              with wows of loose jaws.
I'm the unryhmed rhythms
  on parrot-pointed beaks;
    the song that hitch ears
      of all awaiting to mock.
                                              I'm drizzling rains
                                              visiting the low land
                                              without gloomy clouds
                                              fore-running torrent drops.
