A Freind - Poem by tigzy tigger

sometimes i walk in a daz, not really acknowledging the world.
almost cast under a sleeping spell till suddenly the world opens up.
i see a person before me, gentle in nature but tough as old boots.
the face of a poet, a shakespeare unknown.
i shall never understand why he makes me feel this way.
safe, secure, comforted yet protected.
maybe its his beauty, the handsome but sweet smile.
a friend that comforts with just a warm presence,
and a warm smile to spark it up.
i shall never understand why im drawn to him,
like an antique...look but dont touch..
theres no sexual attraction but his charm is so alluring.
now as i right i hope he is well,
and hope that he shall always stay pure.
