A Friendship

Rating: 5.0

We are not friends
because of the friends
we share
But because you dared.

When we make love
are we first the friends
of love
or loving two friends
we are.

And knowing what you think
before I speak
and you speaking what I
think
I
love you more for speaking.

Even though you love me
and I have warmed
your friend ship.

I blot every thing from my mind
just too watch your lips
move
and they are as different to me.

As the friendship of the sun
watching it set
each brand new day
into that warm familiar sea.
