A Frozen Flower Thaws Poem by Annie Jane

A Frozen Flower Thaws

Rating: 5.0

Delicate flower, you have been growing alone for too long.
The soil round your feet was frozen by winter,
Your petals were brittle, their colour near gone.

But just like the ocean that carves through rock or softens a stone,
The hardness, a coldness, is starting to fade,
Because his warmth can change you, and make you his own.
