A Gangster's Dream Poem by Kyle Shield Laster

A Gangster's Dream

I saw a man die today.
He did not shed a tear.
The look of grief held in her eyes,
His mom, caused him to sneer.

Bad right through his hollowed veins;
The drugs struck with precision.
Care, he'd not for all his life
He'd 'die to go to prison...'
