A Genesis Like God Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

A Genesis Like God

A Genesis like God

Travel with me and see the vast
Circumspects, like a paintings of tlme,

Allowing the unsettled dusts,
The haggles of greedy enterpreneurs, the unending wars, attritions and conflicts

I am the poet of wherewithtals,
The eyes and ears, the portals that hides more than this pleasant feeling,

Men should be keepers of the throne, lathes like love, concern and his love of his fellow creations.,

Love of nature, the sustainability,
Earth and migration of our shared world,

I am an ant,
The poets of small radicals,
Reservoir of this complicated destiny.

With a dialogue with space,
And an invitations for a dinner of great talks and great philosophies,

I am the downpayments of insidious fate, held hostage by miracles and nirvannas,
that something good and wonderful is happening, bound to happen,

Religious or none at all,
Be that Genesis, like God,

And open a heart and a hand,
To create something meaningful.
