A Gift For You And Me
The season is upon us
Everyone rushing about
Hurrying to find that perfect gift
Wishing to not falter
I too want
It to be
What you always wanted
Still I find myself
Wishing once again
This year
To make it simpler
Reminded of times long ago
Where gifts where important
Yes I know
Yet so much less then now
There was time for
To understand
The meaning of what
It meant to me
And you
A wonderful time
To be reminded of human kindness
Spiritual rekindling
Family
Renewed hope for mankind
My gift for you
This year is that we can all
Get to that place to
Discovering the true meaning of the season
Once again for you and for me
