1/
Earth, praise-scattered all over; of whom
With winds' ranging, pleasure-walk.
But where's your pride, holds up this view
Arched and arboured, gardens through.
More Heaven's gloat! To honour what's
Raised of bright smiles, not just sunned!
Which for a harmonizing work sum
Nature's and Man's busy hum.
2/
Founts of this partnership, bubbly maintained
Out world's nave, Rome, radiate.
Its park terrace's running waters
Walled and staired, hearts animate.
And pristine kept, what for a bond
Nor wilts below, sags above
Far East, is set. In its lily-ponded
Red bridging, souls elevate.
