The happy ending
she was convinced was finally hers
once so strong, so sure
now wobbles, threatens to fall
whether she truly believed it was true
or if she had just successfully tricked
herself into believing her minds lies
, , she does not know, ,
maybe, bc she knew she needed it
and wouldn't survive without it, ,
she jumps off the cliff into
the once so clear future
and now that she's falling
she doesn't know how sure she is
, , of a soft landing, ,
and more then anything
she fears
that she'll lose
the one thing she thought she'd always
be able to rely on
the one person she thought would
keep his promise to never hurt her
the one dream she ever truly
needed to come true
and her love
bc she loved him, ,

and will always love him
