A Hatred In Blood Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

A Hatred In Blood

Rating: 4.2

It is not in my blood to hate
It doesn’t strike or come very late
I have observed the result of peace
Life can be led with ease

The hatred burns you from within
Even in victory it is not a win
You lower your image in public eye
You must think and give a good bye

It has not helped any one in present
It lacks sincerity and good behavior is absent
Peace, even if you desire, can’t be clearly sent
You are out of grace with adverse comment

Hatred emerges out of frustration
You loose the appetite for good narration
For you everything seems to be out of question
It has direct bearing and relation

You may land in problem the moment you loose your ahead
You may become rudderless with no clear goal to lead
These are all side effects of hatred and rage
They are not worth mentioning on page

In raging mood, you may destroy the good foundation
You may witness water’s fury after the inundation
You may setback from all the directions
Any amount of goodwill may not correct the action

Life has its own ratting with conclusion
It may shine with some of the finest inclusions
What are expected to perform and adhere to?
Life is to be lived with all the hurdles to pass through

It may infuriate you at some stage
You have all the reason to burn in rage
It may not prove appropriate to your age
Still you have to pass it off as good mileage
