A Homeless Person Poem by Randy McClave

A Homeless Person

They threw away a homeless person's tent
But, they still can't pay rent,
Now where will they go to live
Who else must they now ask to forgive.
Are they now glad that homeless person is cold
Are they now glad they're not near that road,
And are they happy they'll get rained on or freeze
Maybe soon they'll get ill from a cough or a sneeze.
Homelessness has always been here
And for the homeless I still shed a tear,
I help them whenever that I am able and can
As should every able woman and man.
Yes they are begging on the street
Yes they are begging for food to eat,
But, if that homeless person either her or him
If they were your brother or sister, wouldn't you help them.
