A House—but No Home Poem by Kurt Philip Behm

A House—but No Home

A Poet with no following,
a speaker without ears

A siren in the shower,
a guitar no one hears

A frame with no picture,
an actor on loan

A choice with no decision,
a house—but no home

Stark! Powerful imagery.
