A House Made Home Poem by Frank Adie

A House Made Home

I had a house
A mere roof over my head
That keeps the sun's ray off me
Shields me from heaven's pour
And provides rest for my tired bones.

Then you came and made it a home
A sacred sanctuary of care and hope
Where happiness resides and laughter overflows
A haven where peace dances to the beats of love
Where bodies blends to provide warmth
Home, sweet home, It feels good to be at home.
