A Jar Of Honey Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

A Jar Of Honey

Rating: 5.0

A jar of honey,
To request a word from you;
Money cannot buy true love.

Disguised! !
With the Winds of nature;
Wings of love!
To request a word from you,
Because, money cannot buy true love.

True love!
Not to be someone else;
Only to knock at your door,
To request a word from you;
With a jar of honey in the hand,
Because, money cannot buy true love.

Something sweet!
Something lovely,
In you alone;
Nice and easy,
Beautiful and very attractive!
Money cannot buy true love.

Something very special;
In you alone,
In you only,
Something lovely! !
Something very sweet;
Romantic!
Something right is found in you;
With a jar of honey in my hand,
Knocking at your door!
Because, money cannot buy true love.

This rich land! !
This rich love,
Living in the garden of peace;
With your works,
Joy in your heart!
I am still knocking at your door;
Waiting for you to allow me in.

A lamb in your garden,
A lamp seen in your room;
Stamp of love!
Map of life,
Dreams! !
With the romance of nature.

Right in the sight of the truth!
Bright Stars of peace and joy,
The delight of this love,
The might of the night! !
A jar of honey in my hand,
Knocking at your door!
Because, money cannot buy true love.
