A Joker's Game Poem by Eillio Imbasciati

A Joker's Game

Rating: 5.0

Ran to places,
Shown the paces,
Yet still spinning his wheels
Stammering, stumbling,
Just being the fool in a joker's game
The hand is dealt, the cards aren't well,
So he's headed to a loose head and some blood
In the end, he just wanted to win once,
Not for richness, nor for pride,
But for respectability, which is the card he didn't count on
