A Journey Poem by LOVEMO QUEEN

Let me take you on a journey
Just close your eyes
Take a breath
And put all your trust in my words.
Follow me now, and watch your step
This path has not yet been traveled
For the weak at heart cannot know what we shall know
Their eyes do not have the privilege of seeing the
Magnificence that we are about to explore
Now come along, let this journey begin.

Look to your right. Do you see it?
That is my dream right there.
That is a simple paper on the wall
That brief text defines all that I have ever wanted
It is that 8x12 white rectangle that holds my biggest accomplishment
That right there is my college diploma

But lets move on
Our journey does continue.
This time shift your gaze to the left
Take in deeply what it is that you are seeing
Black and white. Together. At Peace.
Those who once fought now speak.
Religions now come together to love as one
Instead of killing for one.
It truly is a sight, isn't it?

We have not finished yet though
Our time is limited, and the best is yet to approach us.
The last thing I ask of you is to look straight ahead
And see something truly spectacular that is suited personally to you.
I'm asking you to see yourself smiling, older, wiser, happier, and whatever else the world holds for you.

Now, we have done it. We have explored the future.
We have seen what so many have to wait to see.
The uncharted grounds made for the perfect insight
One day things will not be as they are
Instead, change will have occurred, and we simply imagine that
This change holds with it the key to our happiness
But, for now, we shall live in the present in order to make the
Future a reality.
