A Judgment (Tanka) Poem by Udaya R. Tennakoon

A Judgment (Tanka)

While on the sick bed
Nearby machine untrusty signs
Visitors' eyes see
Before reports and doctors
Remember! You smiled to death

An interesting work, only on the death bed will we see the harbinger of all things. Short but powerful
