A Lady Of Jealousy And Spite Poem by Garret Raja

A Lady Of Jealousy And Spite

There is a lady, with fiery rage,
Whose temper flares with every page,
Jealous of those who dare to shine,
Above her in this college line.

She plots and schemes to cause dismay,
Turning colleagues against the head, they say,
As if a villain, with cunning guile,
She whispers lies to fuel the trial.

A Lady of Jealousy and Spite,
Who bears a grudge against the light,
She rebels against the good and true,
For favoring those she thinks less due.

She's like the fallen angel, so grand,
Who turned against God's loving hand,
For God's favoring of man and son,
She, too, resents the chosen one.

She never respects the head, it's true,
And claims the head is partial too,
Favoring juniors, so young and green,
Over her, with much more experience seen.

Yet, I still hope she'll see the light,
And turn her heart to what is right,
For kindness and love can conquer all,
And break the chains of jealousy's thrall.
