A Letter To My Future Wife Poem by Emmanuel Joseph Olumakiss

A Letter To My Future Wife

Dear future wife!
Kindly place your ear to the wall of my heart and hearken carefree to the throb emanating from my soul.

I am your husband to behold!
I am your best friend not your foe!

This castle in my heart I've laboured decades of pain
To build you a paradise as home, and not a girdle of cage.

It is your progress I've forever longed for and chased.
Can't you see the emotional fragrances flashing the temple of my face?
I have built you this ark of predilection with fountain of
faith, waiting for the very day you will be my every day pet!

Dear future wife!
Let the toeing of your toe towards my home be atoned!
Bring me the floodlight of fortitude into the mainstream of my house, and rekindle my withered spirit.
Deservedly is the fruit of your amativeness, it has led me to
this single act of indulgence.

Honey I can't wait to lay next to the scent of your hair.
I can't wait to dip you in the showers of my care.
I've been busy dreaming the day and night we will share.
I can't wait to caress your lips and stroke away your tears.
Angel you are a warmth hope to my life!
Without your breath, tell me how can i survive?
I can't wait to watch the sail of your smile.
I will forever drown in the liveliness of your arm.

The desire to have you close by my side burns like a flame.
Only your presence can put all my anxieties to shame.
For better for worst I've pledged to get stalked in your race.
No beauty in the world can be compared to your taste.
The well of my wealth I've drilled for you to reap.
It is only through your air i will breathe.
For your sake i ve preserved this heart and keep.
Waiting for your arrival from this enlongated trip.
