A Letter To The Broken Poem by Camilla Caruso

A Letter To The Broken

Rating: 4.3

Here’s to the girls whose young hearts were broken.
Broken by someone they love and admire.
But still try their bests and never tire,
Their body hurts and they're so soft spoken.
Here’s to the girls whose eyes burn like fire,
From crying and yet he’s still a liar.
To all these young girls: you are a token.
Even though your fragile heart is broken.
Remember, sticks and stone may break your bones,
But you will always be stronger than him.
No matter what they say your pain in real,
And just remember I know how you feel.
You might feel broken and you might feel down,
Remember he gains power from that frown.

Indeed sadists are happy when their victims in pain. A lovely piece of poetry insightfully penned with conviction. I like the rhyme scheme of the piece. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.10/10

Fantastic poem, I really liked it. Playing with hearts is a clear sign that this person is very far away from his humanity, not caring about others feelings is so dangerous too. Thank you for sharing.
