A Liberation Of Attachments Poem by Dahia Alqalbi Nursehag

A Liberation Of Attachments

Rating: 4.7

There was a time I thought
A form of power I saw
Is the safest place I could stay
There was a time I thought
If I hold on to it
I would never be broken
There was a time I thought
The softness it shows
Would give me life hope
There was a time I thought
The reflection of kindness
Could guarantee me freedom
I stop to believe
Believe what is shown by the surroundings
To believe of what in front of me
And thrown to my eyes

A time come when we realize that every thing that we possessed, loved or even hated slips from our fingers. Lovely poem.
