How do you know if a life had purpose
What standard is to be applied
How do you judge those distinct moments
What wisdom is your guide
How do you know if you've lived the good life
What conditions must be met
How do you know and how do you tell
What will be the test
Some will say these questions are moot
Debatable, controversial, unresolved
Others will say they go to life's root
Questions that are asked by us all
How do you know or is it just a waste of time
To ponder these questions or even try
How do you know and is it really important
To answer these questions and why
