A Lifetime Of Chances Poem by Terence George Craddock

A Lifetime Of Chances

even at birth
life is not fair
babies born

in poverty
with health issues
which cannot

be healed
advantages
birth born

with silver spoon
privileges versus
dirty plastic spoon

limitations
starting gate
off in race

horses carrying handicap
whipped hard ridden
have few chances to win

rich countries
poor countries
war torn countries

addressing first
third world issues
survival chances
