A Lincolnshire Lad - Steep Hill Poem by Christopher Tye

A Lincolnshire Lad - Steep Hill

A Lincolnshire Lad - Steep Hill

Steep hill that's for sure,
Timeless charm and appeal,
Endless tourists flow along you now,
England's finest street for many years,
Period buildings standing with modern houses.

Historical buildings from Norman England,
Imagine what tales you have to tell,
Linking lower Lincoln to the castle and cathedral,
Lindum's roman beginnings to the Lincoln of today.
