A Lonely Walkway Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

A Lonely Walkway

Conquering feelings of sorrow as it weeps within me,
stranding me in a lonely walkway with nowhere to turn.
Then visions enter the picture and I am transformed
through writing as it takes away the pain of sorrow
while I watch it dissipate right in front of me.
Wondering how it has happened, knowing later I'll
figure it out.

pain of sorrow is here and it is the stepping stone of success, I think.
