A Look At Children Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

A Look At Children

Rating: 3.9

I missed or enjoyed no parenthood
I used to look at children in the neighborhood
Complete innocence reflecting on face
Ready to catch hand and willing to embrace

No one has dared to displease the children
They are made angry and upset very often
They will start crying all of sudden
The house with children is considered as heaven

Days tiredness go off when you see them playing
What type of joy and happiness it is relaying?
Children are symbol of frankness and innocence
Pain and worries go off in their presence

I wanted to remain childless
I was obsessed with this idea more or less
I couldn’t figure it out or trace
This must be considered as an isolated case

How garden may look without flowers and honey bees?
What image he desert may create when grown with trees?
There may prevail calm and enough joy
Life is to be lived with care and enjoy

Wherever there is poverty there is no child issue
Children are flooded their without any due
Where there is enough wealth and position
Children are not gifted and faced with lot many problems

Mother’s womb is rented child
They miss something in life and go wild
Their main concern is only to have new born
They are ready to do to address the concern

When we are helpless we may claim it as choice?
We may openly advocate and make more noise
Who will decide how many flowers garden should have?
We are assuming the role creators and brave

Children are gifts from God, as you say, and childless parents can adopt children from orphanage homes. All flowers do not grow in our gardens. Sometime we have to get them from others' gardens.
