A Love He Wrote Poem by April Humason

A Love He Wrote

Rating: 5.0

Before there were names for pain or fear,
Before the fall, before the tear,
God breathed a love into the dust,
And shaped two souls from sacred trust.

One formed from earth, one from his side,
Not meant to rule, not meant to hide.
Different in form, yet made to be
Two reflections of one decree.

Bone of bone, and breath of breath,
Life joined before the shadow of death.
Not owned, not used, not torn apart—
But written together from a single heart.

Eyes met eyes with no disguise,
No shame, no fear, no fractured lies.
Just truth, just light, just holy art—
A love God wrote before the start.

Two bodies shaped by the same hand,
Placed in a perfect, living land.
Not separate paths, but one design—
Two souls walking a single line.

And though the garden turned to dust,
That love still lives because it must.
Still written deep inside our frame,
A sacred joining without shame.

Not just a story of long ago,
But a seed of love He still will sow—
One flesh, one breath, one guided art,
A love He wrote from the start.
