On friday last i had a solid plan
As i do on friday drove to my farm
My Honda CRV broke a ball joint
The man with a plan

Not one to give up
I borrowed my wifes BMW
And hit some sharp grass punctured a hose
The man with a plan

Next day Saturday went back to farm
CRV ball joint 'repaired' broke again
Mechanic put too much torque
The man with a plan.

I had no spare ball joint
Had no size 32 socket for hub nut
Sent my worker to the nearest town
The man with a plan

It was a Saturday shops close by 3pm
Lockdown transport is slow
Shops closed so he bought a used ball joint
A man with a plan

In the farm and village can't get 32 socket
Its late, it's raining heavily
I sleep in the car covered in blanket of mosquitoes
A man with a plan

Sunday morning i find 32 socket
Far away at my in-laws farm
I replace broken ball joint with used one
A man with a plan.

Tuesday next week busy busy
Going home in Honda CRV at 5pm
Used ball joint breaks in traffic
A man with a plan

I get towed home
Next day buy a new one
Planning to go to farm on Saturday next.

Saturday, yesterday, my Honda CRV misfires
She is in a bad mood
I ignore drive to the farm
A man with a plan

Like old McDonald i do my stuff
The oil in my CRV is depleted
I ignore and top up to get home
A man with a plan

My temperature gauge is up
I stop to check, it's overheating
I top up water and drive
A man with a plan

Mr car cuts off at police checkpoint
I find more water my head gasket blown
I drive to my mechanic in heavy traffic
A man with a plan.

Half a kilometre from mechanic
The car dies a death
Won't start, no compression, oil and water mixed.
A man with a plan.

I m towed to mechanic
He loves me so much when my car dies
My wife comes to pick me up
A man with a plan.

What an eventful week
Lots of little mishaps
No retreat no surrender
A man with a plan
