The fires are out
Yet the smoke still lingers
The pillar are down
But the bricks are littered

The flowers you gave faded
Yet your memories never died
The love we shared is gone
But I kept the feelings inside

Was it so easy for you?
To let go and never turn back
Was it so easy for you?
If it was, for me it wasn't

The gold may entertain dirt
But it name never changes
How unfair a man's little errs
Are a dent to their perfection

Though the candle
May turn a wasted wax
But that night it kindles
Will never be forgotten

You are never a past to me
You're the future I left behind
I carry your every love and hurt
