A Modern Dilettante Poem by DM W

A Modern Dilettante

He's a modern dilettante. He studies
Ancient Taoism whilst tucking into
A Chinese takeaway! He sometimes reads
The Tarot, and when he is most confused,
He googles fake conspiracy theories.
I consider his concepts to be half-baked;
For he is intellectually lazy.
I do believe Pope once famously stated
That a little learning is most certainly
A dangerous thing. I must say I agree!
