A Modern Poet Should Try It Poem by Terence George Craddock

A Modern Poet Should Try It

I feel a modern poet should try it
why would a passion poet deny it...
the chance to old school write
with poet old tools paper and pen;
in moments of quiet contemplative night
the process is special can be mystical magical...
in the stillness tactile touching paper pen in mellow darkness
under electrical light or flickering gold glowing candle light;

half an hour an hour can
slip away time lost;
in thought exploring embracing
intriguing waiting thought landscapes;
creative imagery lures adventures
within inner mind limitless horizons;
