White frost covers the green grass
Jumping the barbed wire
Taking slow, quiet steps
Climbing the cold rungs
Sitting and waiting
Toes start to get chilly
A big buck huffing
Staring down the scope
Bang!
The buck runs then nose dives
Food for winter has been secured

I guess if one wants to kill a 'poor innocent creature', a deer is as good as any. And venison steaks and burgers! ! ! Yummy, and all for the price of a little ammo, a hunting license, a little chilliness, and a neighbor who lets you hunt on his/her land! ! bri ;)
Good experience of winter.Being from a tropical country we don't feel the chill unless read in a poem
