A Motherless Child Poem by Abdulrauf Muhammad Aljasawee

A Motherless Child

Rating: 5.0

A pyramid of grief
Imbedded in a fragile heart....

A destiny that is doomed
And deprived by the cause of fate....

A lonely lost soul
In an unknown location
Deep beneath the ocean of tears
Drowning in an intense pain,

Even when he smiles
No one can see his sparkling teeth
Even when he frowns
No one can see his sorrowful eyes,

A motherless child
With a speechless tongue
Who happens to be in pain
Right from infant years
Till the age of wrinkled skin,

A soul that knows but fear
A mind that is full of tears,
But hope is all it takes
To keep that broken soul alive,

So hope is all you need
To overcome all your fears,
For hope is all it takes
To keep a drowning soul
From dying all Alone,

but the heartless mother
Who was bold enough to abandon
A child of infant hood...,

The heartless mother
Who has no neither love nor sympathy
To her only child in the world,

A mother who broke a fragile heart....
A mother who puts a life in misery....
A mother who shattered a dream....

Is she to be forgiven and
find an eternal repose?
Or is she be deprived
And face the divine law? .

Wow What a powerful pregnant imagery. This is one of the most painful poem I have ever Read, well crafted and drafted, the emotional expression in it makes me feel like I wanna cry. This is really wonderful and amazing poem, I love it. Well done, and thank you for sharing with us.
