A Music Stroll Poem by Ronald Strickland

A Music Stroll

Rating: 4.5

Went for a walk that turned into astroll,
with plugs in my ears, I was listening to rock and roll.
I felt the beat down to my toes. I spurn around,
then a highstep left with a high step right,
like a fish out of the water, I was out of control.
Passersby looked as I I were insane.

They did not know that the music in my ear rock and roll,
had taken control.

My feet was moving now from the sound of soul
as I waltz and strolled.

As I increased the volume, the sound of music flowed.

The crowds feet begin to move with rock and roll soul.

Their smiles begin to show. If you're out for a walk,
take some music with you when you go and make it a
rock and roll soul stroll.
