A Mystery Of An Interior Spirituality Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

A Mystery Of An Interior Spirituality

Recognition of notes being played too sharply on stage,
yet slowly fading into melodies that remain motionless
like waves upon the surface before crashing on shore.

Trying to relax in tides of endless innocence of nature
where no one can fault their thoughts of wanting just to
relax and be one in another time and place.

A gentle reassurance of timely memories that remain true
to themselves for a time, sheltered in the comfort of
placid rhythms.

Not letting anything get into minds of lifelong behaviors
that will always be in pictures and images of tomorrow's
visions.

Nobody seeming to know where they came from or where they
are going, a listless pace of energy lying hidden beneath
the surface.

A complete and total mystery of an interior spirituality
that never is deposed or taken into the turmoil, floating
in the wonder of another moment waiting its turn.

Going into another dimension far from this earthly one, ad-
justing itself in timely moods of an interior world of in-
tellectuality and serendipity.

Being tuned along with a nondescript awe that will be divulge-
ed in each melody and pose of integrity, moving slowly and gent-
ly along shores of an incessant mode of humanity while trusting
in the Lord alone, a precious gift that can never be taken away,
for it comes straight from heaven.
