A Never Ending Breeze Poem by Dakota Ellerton

A Never Ending Breeze

As I blankly stare out the window
at the lifeless trees as the wind blows through them
you soar by.

With your wings out
your spirit is guiding you with the wind,
you are free.

I haven't seen you, since that day
yet you come and go so quickly,
in front of my very eyes

without even saying goodbye
you have once again vanished from my sight,
probably forever

But just like the time before
no words need to be said
for you to know I love you

my lips are trembling
and tears are beginning to roll down my face
I've missed you so much
