Diversity and inclusion; it's a challenge we must meet
For though it holds great beauty, it's not always sweet.
In the struggle to create a world of acceptance
We must confront the issues and make our presence.

The world is full of bias and inequality
Injustice and intolerance that hurt every community
Places where minorities struggle to be heard
And where human rights are disregarded, left to be blurred.

But we rise together, united and strong
And fight with passion against the wrong
Understanding and empathy in our hearts
We renew the world and make a new start.

We educate ourselves and others, breaking down barriers
And challenge the norms that are steeped in fear and terror
Through dialogue and honest conversation we find common ground
And lay the foundation that holds us all sound.

We lift one another up with care and kindness..
And strive to create workplaces that breed inclusiveness
Where everyone's talent and contribution is valued
A place where diversity of thought isn't muted.

Let's move beyond tokenism, beyond outward gestures,
And make a real effort to embrace our differences
Let's confront our biases, and work to understand
And build a world that values every human, woman, and man..

For diversity and inclusion aren't just nice to have
But there are crucial steps we need to follow and pave
For only in a world where acceptance of difference prevails
Will we create a world where everyone truly sails.
