A New Year, A New Decade Poem by Hebert Logerie

The whole world is super excited about the New Year
But, it is also a new decade. In the atmosphere
There is a lot of emotional expressions
The entire world is filled up with emotions
People are laughing, people are wiping away tears
Of happiness, tears of doubt, tears of fear
And tears of skepticism. A new year is no laughing
Matter. Everybody's hope is high and climbing
This is indeed a new year to love, to pray and to honor
The Almighty Creator more and more
This is a new decade to respect and love each other
And to tolerate each other more and more
This is the real thing. This is it. This is more than we can chew
Let's proceed cautiously. God loves you, me, you and you
God loves all of us regardless of our shade
This is a brand new year, a brand new decade
We all can do better, we all can be better
Now is the time. Hope, we all can behave better.
