A Nose For Romance Poem by Gayathri Seetharam

A Nose For Romance

A nose for romance
-Gayathri B. Seetharam
"Fill my heart with songs" says Tony Bennett
"Everyday words seem to turn into love songs", says Bennett
"Lovely never change" said Frank Sinatra
"The love that wriggled your nose touched my foolish heart", said Sinatra;

Golden sunshine is what I long for
Golden sunshine is what I love
Golden sunshine is what makes me smile
Golden sunshine is what makes my hair curl;

The Royal Conservatory of Music can be made as
A Beautiful painting with music inside the hearts
The MET can be painted as heart shaped letters
With hearts on the pillars and I would hope to create a 3-D effect
Do you think the hearts would be too long or musical
It would mean an everlasting love song
The touch of hearts with a nose for romance;

Psyche is the same, a beautiful mind and face and body
And myself, Gayathri or Psyche for I am a good woman
Seeing good in every soul, is also the same, a loving wife
If wildflowers bring out the unbridled passion in me
Baby's breath and red trilliums remind me of good times in Toronto;

Summer days sure are special
Summer days are what I love
Summer days are what I long for
Summer days are what make my face glow;

Pinterest showed me how to make bullion roses on chain stitch leaves and stalks
And I shall make a maple leaf with this type of embroidery stitch
And a rose for if a maple leaf can be measured by a surface integral
For it is a right angled triangle, an isosceles triangle and a right angled triangle above a rectangle
In the centre and a square and a right angled triangle on the sides,
A rose can be spanned by a rose curve mathematically speaking;

Winter warmth is what I long for
Winter warmth is what I love
Winter warmth is what makes me happy
Winter warmth is what I need to work.
