A One-Time Millionaire Poem by Mark Heathcote

A One-Time Millionaire

I am going to find myself a good wife.
I am going to find myself a woman.
Who will always have my back?
And be an answer to a prayer.

I am going to find the lady of my dreams.
I am going to find a fire.
That keeps me warm but never roars or burns me.
I am going to find a feeling that doesn't bewilder me.

I am going to find myself a girl.
Who is as beautiful as Harebell, but who is never shrill?
I am going to find myself a major partner.
Who wants to share my whole life and be my wife?

I am going to find myself a good wife.
Oh, I am going to find myself a woman.
Who will always have my back?
And be an answer to a prayer.
I swear, all I know for sure is
She'll be extraordinaire.
And I'll sure feel like a one-time millionaire.
