A Page In History Poem by Dorsey Baker

A Page In History

Mister Bob Dylan
Now I know
Why you made the choice
Cause I hear you now
And you are
Speaking in another voice

It's you
But you are
Wearing a complicated face
As if
You would really
Rather be in another place

I respect you mister Bob Dylan
You have got the nerve
I must admit
You have got the courage
To rearrange and
Change
What might have been
Your biggest hit!

You are a poet
And thats the biggest role
That You ave ever played
I am a poet too
And I am just watching you
Making the biggest comeback
That You have ever made!

Life is short
And we just don't last that long
A page in history
We write our page
We sing our song!
