A Painful Journey

Every now and then
Life will get you down
It can take your smile
Turn it into a frown
Sometimes it's just not easy
As we walk through this land
Sometimes we have to deal with
Many things we don't understand
Like losing friends and family
That we loved along the way
Knowing that their loses
Will hurt for many days
