A Parents Fear Poem by Heath Gunn

A Parents Fear

Rating: 5.0

A parents fear, their worst nightmare.
Is sitting alone, in a Police-room chair.
Being interviewed by P.C Plod,
About the child you've fed and shod.
The child you've loved since pre-day one.
The child you could compare with none.
Who's gone astray, you don't know where.
And you can't explain, how much you care.
For your child, who last you saw.
In public park, with ten or more.
Playing safe, on swings and slides.
And who should be clinging to your side.
But now is gone, you know not where.
And you can't explain, how much you care.

A lost child, a parents worst nightmare. Very nicely put together. Think I see a gift forming here.

This is absolutely beautiful. I understand how you feel. My mom's friend's daughter got kidnapped while playing in the park across the street. I know how she was feeling... she wouldn't stop crying. Anywho, umm that was lovely. If you have the time, would you please read my poems and give me feedback. I would really appreciate it. Thanks so much. Love ya, Tiff.
