A Peaceful Blend Poem by Marilyn Lott

A Peaceful Blend

Rating: 2.0

My life had become hectic
I needed to get away
Quiet was what I needed
Some peace for me that day.

Nothing can be more peaceful
Than a sweet country drive
You know, the cows were waiting
To greet me when I arrived.

It was just as though they said
"Hello, and how are you? "
They gathered ‘round the fence
Asking what they could do.

So if you need understanding
Or just need a new friend
Go to the country, meet some cows
You will find a peaceful blend.
