It has been strange, these last few weeks
Combating mostly against the Coronavirus
Keeping our distance from each neighbor
Only doing shopping once a week

So many people working from home, hooked up on line
Family gatherings with the new vision of Zoom
Enabling people connection even though so far apart
Thinking of each other so dear to the heart

But, on an alternative subjective side, a gain
It has given us all an interesting treat, a different aspect
An opportunity of taking a peek into personality homes
A peek where they live, people we daily see and hear

Such people normally speak to us from the radio
Inform and talk to us on TV from a studio
Perform or demonstrate for us on stage or in a hall
Communicate and lecture from their workplace

They are the newscasters and politicians
Doctors, nurses, industrialists, world leaders, judiciary
Scientists, teachers, writers, actors, singers, chefs
Musicians, sportspersons, every vocation in the world

We can see into the privacy of their homes, a room
Maybe just a little corner of a hall or stairway
Every area tells a story, so much alike for us all
Family pictures, shelves of books, a few ornaments

The decor of homes of those speakers are so diverse
Some just traditional, could be found in any house
Sporting soft comfy sofas with lots of floppy pillows
Others, contemporary, stark, modern, even bizarre

Amazing art hanging on walls, figurines of sheer beauty
Exquisite period furniture, grandest of grand pianos
So too, simple practical designs for everyday use
All revealing the mode or style of the personality

In star-studded "One World Concert" curated by Lady Gaga
We saw famous vocalists, musicians, performers, innovators
Even to the everyday frontline heroes of our current time
What a bonus! Giving a peek into mega personality homes
