A Phenominal Lover's Lie Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

A Phenominal Lover's Lie

A Phenomenal Lover's Lie

Only in reallife, can we be restrained,
In dreams can be bedded, any time,
moist dew to moist lips into the waters of pollination,

Casts as phenomenal lover's lie,
Phenomenal couple for a honeymoon,

Casts asuntrue fictions, untrue spectaculars, those hallucinating seculars,
Worshippers of the sun, and adorers of the moon,

And howl like these wolves, howling beasts, copulating myriads at the midst of creation,

These beasts that praised God, these creatures that came as mortals, dies inthese immortal fires,

We of sullen winds, lonely shores and
misty creations,

A phenomenal lie and a grand hoaxes,
We were never in those imposed dreams.
