A Piece Of The Moon Poem by Indika Thushara Gamage

A Piece Of The Moon

Rating: 5.0

The piece of the moon
It is my gift, at my eyes
It is blossom, in my heart
I am now thirty years old and
I have done it well
Birds still singing behind the window
Forgot to fly over the sky
Never had a name,
But I know; what happened at last?
When cloud clashes with mountain
Light came from water
Before thunder light was born
If you ignored me; I never meet you

Each time I hear a new sound
It's just blossom; a fresh flower
If you shed a tear; I keep it
The moon I show in my room
My new born son laughs with me
A silver line in his mouth
Bring the breeze to my life
And both victory and arrogance
